Anglican Essentials Wales
Welcome
Anglican Essentials Wales is a national movement of lay and ordained Welsh Anglicans united in their common commitment to upholding orthodox faith and practice. Drawn from across the various traditions of the Anglican Church we are dedicated to the propagation of the unchanging gospel of Jesus Christ in a post-Christian Wales.
Our purpose is to:
-
Provide a forum, a rallying point, and an identity for all "orthodox Anglicans"
-
Provide a voice for this constituency to the leadership of the church.
At its inaugural conference in March 2019 a statement expressing the concerns and aims of Anglican Essentials Wales was agreed by the delegates. You can read the statement here. If you agree with the statement, we invite you to sign it.
What's on?
Prayer is a vital part of what we do together in AEW. So every Wednesday at 6:30AM - 7:00AM members get together via Zoom to do just that. If you would like to join us as we pray together, please email admin@anglicanessentialswales.com
Weekly Prayer Meeting
Online Afternoon Tea
These are opportunities for clergy and lay alike within the Anglican church to come together to share our joys, and sorrows, to encourage and find support in the fellowship of others facing similar challenges. There is no set pattern for our afternoon teas and the best way to stay in the loop and receive Zoom invitations is to sign up to our mailing list. Emailing admin@anglicanessentialswales.com Our next Afternoon Tea is on the 15th May 2024 at 3:30PM.
Meetups
At various points throughout the year, we aim to get together in person for a time of teaching and fellowship. sometimes these sessions are led by guest speakers, other times from our own pool of talent!
